Do you really like beer? Like beyond the bro brothers IPA? Then this is a super quality brewery with incredible guest taps as well. BA saisons, Belgians, hazys, and super knowledgeable beer tenders. Not a where you want to come for St Patrick's but where you want to go for a world class beer.

I love their Albariño saison(?) on the menu and I have no idea what the abv is. The menu is creative and they have different types of saison. I like the vibe of this place and it's dog friendly. At the back there is a long table suitable for bigger parties. Also good for some board games. The bar is connected to another storefront and on the Saturday night I went they have karaoke. Definitely recommend checking out their brews!!

Cozy and great ambiance, with old world medieval pub feel. Service was excellent and the food menu was small, but I kind of wanted to try everything because it al looked so good! The beer is world class and there was a variety of beer to please everyone in our group of 8. We also popped a bottle of West Ashley, which all of the beers we had were made locally in northern Cali by the brewery, and was delicious! Just an amazing, cozy, world class, really special experience. But could easily also just be your local pub you go to every day.

We tried a few of their drinks--lots of selection, and each had its own unique flavor. The store interior is really classy, and there's a cozy outdoor patio in the back. Plus, it's dog friendly!

This spot used to be a Belgian style beer bar with an old-timey vibe. Sante Adairius took over the spot within the last couple years and kept the same vibe/ build out for the most part. The space isn't big so it's pretty intimate and the folks here are very friendly. Lots of my beer friends and I have been big fans of this brewery for a very long time. This is my first time visiting either location because Santa Cruz is pretty far for me when I visit the area so I was glad I was able to make a visit to this spot since it's closer to where my family lives in the East Bay. I think they're typically known for their sour beers, but I've noticed more and more hazy IPAs coming from this brewery recently. I'm not sure if that's a new development or I just didn't notice them previously. I ordered a hazy IPA and just hung out at the bar for a while. Just a great place to drink beers. I came during the week, so there was plenty of street parking.

Came here spontaneously on a Sunday while walking the streets of Oakland. This was such a cute spot. Love the beer selection. I went with the Belgian quad (St Bernadus ABT 12) to start which was tasty, but then switched to the Belgian Tripel (Gouden Carolus) and stuck with that one. At one point I wanted to taste a canned IPA, and since the bartender had never tried it, he opened it up for us to try. Amazing customer service. The spot seems tight at first but there's more seating in the back and outside. We found a table in the back that sits at least 8, and plucked ourselves down and played a board game (Terraforming Mars Ares Expedition, highly recommend). In the end, got a 4 pack of one of the beers to go for my partner. I'll definitely be back!

I haven't been here for many years. It's always been a Belgian beer bar. I'm not sure when Sante Adairius took it over but they've pretty much kept it the same as it was, in a good way. As I tend to drink IPA's, I was happy that they also had some on the menu. I tried the Left and Leaning, a non hazy that I really enjoyed. My friend had a very properly poured St. Bernardus (see photo). The service was great. Also on hand is a lovely, friendly Irish Setter. It was very fun when he visited our table. There's a nice $5 parking lot next door with an attendant. This alone would bring me back :)

Sante Adairius is a brewery in Santa Cruz, California. It's known for its old-world-style ales with a twist. We visited the taproom in Oakland which had a Belgian pub vibe with modern music vibing on the speakers. Belgian and Sour beers are my personal homebrew passion so I loved trying them out in person at Sante Adairius. Saison Bernice: A Saison that is absolutely perfect. The beer is made with freshest on hand and locally available ingredients with multiple yeast additions including Brett. The beer is then aged longer in the bottle to give a bright Saison. This was our favorite of the flight. Fading Footprints: A Belgian-style Witbier with body that is both thin, but also a bit chewy due to the heavy Wheat usage. A lovely citrus flavor comes across with just a hint of spice. The OG Hazy. Summer SaplingL A Belgian Style Blonde hopped to give a bit more character. This was brewed in collaboration with Ryan Witter-Merithew of Casita Cerveceria. A nice crusher in my opinion when you want a light bodied ale with enough character to keep you thinking. After the Future: A Hazy IPA featuring Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. It is the holy gospel of hops right now and honestly you can't lose with the combo. _____
